An example run

Watch a check,
line by line.

Every result says what was found, what was fixed and, just as important, what was not checked. This is a made-up example so you can see the shape of it.

  1. 01

    Bring your app.

Paste your website address, create a free account and follow the ownership check. Start without connecting your code.

  2. 02

    See what needs a look.

Run a Quick Check. Get the observed problems, why they matter and the evidence behind them in one place.

  3. 03

    Make the next move.

Take a fix prompt to your coding tool or developer. Deploy the change, then recheck to see what actually improved.

03 / Close the loop

“Something’s wrong”
isn’t a next step.
This is.

A useful finding gives you a place to start. Understand the issue, take a focused prompt to your builder, then check the change.

What needs attention

This click goes nowhere.

A visitor clicks ‘Get started’, but the sign-up form doesn’t open. Here’s a focused starting point for your coding tool.

Read the example fix prompt

Review the sign-up button on the home page. In the example check, clicking it did not open the sign-up form. Confirm the click handler and destination route, fix the cause, and test the full sign-up path. Keep existing behavior elsewhere unchanged.

Illustration only. This demo does not test or change your app.

What is a “check”?

A check is one automated test of your app. Every plan gives you a monthly pool of credits, and each test spends a few of them. Here is what a credit buys:

  • Quick Check1 creditA real browser opens your live site and clicks through sampled pages and buttons.
  • AI visitor visit4 creditsAI testers with different personalities try to use your app and report where they got stuck.
  • Code review2 creditsReads your GitHub repo or a ZIP for leaked keys and risky code.
  • AI results explanation1 creditAsk about actual findings. Product navigation and how-to guides are free.
  • Staging test6 creditsA Cheater or Hacker tries to break a staging copy you approve. Paid plans only.
  • Launch rehearsal15 creditsMany screen sizes and testers at once, then one ready-or-not answer.

06 / Good questions

A little clarity
before you start.

More in the resource library
Do I need to know how to code?

No. You can start with your website address. Gauntly explains observed problems in plain language and gives you fix prompts to take to your developer or AI coding tool. You’ll need to verify that you own the site before browser checks run.

Can I use it with my AI-built app?

Yes, if you can publish it at a reachable website address and verify ownership. A Quick Check doesn’t require GitHub. For a code review, connect a supported GitHub repository or upload a ZIP. Native mobile binaries aren’t covered by the website browser check.

Will Gauntly change my app?

Quick Checks and the four AI visitor personas use guarded browsing; code access is read-only. Separate Cheater and Hacker staging tests can send approved requests, including writes when explicitly configured with cleanup. You choose whether to set those up. Gauntly doesn’t automatically apply code fixes.

Does a clean result mean my app is completely safe?

No. A result describes the pages, code or scenarios that were checked. It isn’t a guarantee, a penetration test of your entire app, or a compliance certification. Use the evidence and the remaining issues alongside your own testing.

What happens when I change my app?

Recheck the relevant findings after you deploy a fix. Connected GitHub changes and the App Map help you keep releases, promises and results in context. A release receipt can show the checked version, environment and remaining problems.

How does payment work?

Start with Free without a card. Builder and Studio currently use one-time payments for 30 days of access, with no automatic renewal. Your AI help and testing credits reset each month and individual check limits also apply. Your account shows your usage and upgrade options.
